She's just waitin' for the summertime when the weather's fine...

      ( Romper F21, Sweater Marshalls, Sandals F21)

Now that the weather has warmed up, Brandyn and I jumped in the car and drove to Busch Gardens. Six roller coasters and tons of food later we decided it was just what we needed. Hope you all are getting out in this beautiful spring weather!

AND AFTER ALL... YOU'RE MY WONDERWALL.

( Top: F21, Skirt: TJ Maxx, Sandals: F21, Bag: Vintage )

I cannot even believe that April is almost here! Hope you all are doing wonderfully! I have been drowning in work, among other things. Finally I had the energy to get creative today and take some photos. Many more to come as the days warm up here! Just remember when morning comes and you have nothing to wear, throwing on a dress is chic and easy... or fake a dress with a skirt and top that are the same color!

Thinkin it over

So I've had a lot of transitions in my life in the past year... but then again I don't think my life has ever really stopped transitioning or at least slowed down at all.  Since moving and dealing with trying to get settled here I've decided to go to school full time and get my psychology degree. This is something I've really wanted to do for a while and have just made excuses why I shouldn't. Ive learned this week that no matter what chaos is going on in other people's lives around me that I need to listen in the quiet and move myself forward not sideways no matter what happens with anyone else. I cannot control anyone but myself and martyring my happiness will not help anyone.

Fallen

(top:vintage, jeans:h&m, heels:f21, bag:vintage, rings:h&m)

Just about every leaf on the trees have fallen by now and it's almost that time where you cannot step foot outside without a jacket. Luckily where I live, we've had some mild days like today lingering

We've just recently moved, so getting out and meeting new people has taken a backseat to all of my "projects." I have forced myself decided to start some workout classes to finally mingle before I start school in January. Any tips on settling into a new place where you hardly know anyone? Please and thank you!

Olsen Crush

Whenever I feel the urge for some fashion inspiration I always turn to Mary-
Kate and Ashley Olsen. Their sense of style is more art than just putting expensive things seen on the runway together. They always find a way to make an outfit look interesting yet so put together and clean. From makeup to hair,  clothing to shoes I adore these two for their sense of esthetics.

In the Bag

I often find things at thrift stores that can be re-purposed into what they weren't originally intended for.  Ive found myself looking at these old vintage bowling bags quite a few times and wondering "what if I used that as a purse"? Well I finally stepped out of the box and took home my very own bowling bag purse. I think they just look so structured and interesting! My thrifting advice today is if you are adoring something and just arent quite sure if its going to look right as long as its not expensive go for it! I just wish I would have bought one a while back I had my eye on!

WARDROBE STAPLE: black skinny jeans

(gray t-shirt: target, black jeans: F21, black pumps: vintage, bag: vintage)

I've been on the lookout for a pair of simple black skinnies and was ecstatic to find these at Forever 21! They are a bit high waisted, very comfy, and under twenty dollars. I'm just not quite sure how I've made it this long without them!

OOTD Classique Look

(ivory top: vintage, destroyed jeans: f21, pumps: target)

So my husband all but chained me to the couch yesterday to watch the marvel movie "Captain America." I was never really into comic books so let's just say I was a little um.... unenthusiastic. Turns out it was a fantastic movie! The late 30's early 40's clothing, hair, and makeup were so nostalgic! So here is my classic turned modern outfit of the day to go with my retro mood today.
